Local Artist Jay Hosts 5th Charity Art Exhibition to Support Blood Cancer Research

Evington-based artist Jay has once again opened his doors to the community, hosting his fifth charity art exhibition in support of Myeloma UK, a charity dedicated to research and support for people living with blood cancer.
Jay proudly stands with some of his artwork at his 5th charity exhibition, raising funds for Myeloma UK

The exhibition featured an impressive collection of around 80 original oil paintings on canvas, covering a wide range of themes including landscapes, seascapes, wildlife, sunsets, and moonlit scenes. Visitors were treated to a vibrant showcase of colour, detail, and creativity, with each piece reflecting Jay’s passion for art and dedication to making a difference.

What makes this exhibition especially meaningful is its purpose. All proceeds raised through donations and sales are being donated directly to Myeloma UK, helping to fund vital research into the disease while also providing support for patients and families affected by it.

Speaking about the event, Jay expressed his gratitude to everyone who attended and supported the cause:

“Art is something I’ve always loved, but being able to use it to give back and help others is truly special. I’m thankful to everyone who visited, donated, and supported Myeloma UK through this exhibition.”

This marks the fifth time Jay has hosted an art exhibition for charity, and his commitment to using his creativity for good has not gone unnoticed. The event brought together locals from across Leicester and beyond, all united by a shared appreciation of art and a desire to support a worthy cause.
