Who will win the title of England’s Curry Capital? The final showdown is here.

Less than two weeks remain for the public to vote for England’s next Curry Capital for 2026 to 2028, with these five cities battling it out for the top spot: Leicester, London, Birmingham, Manchester and Bradford. It is not just about curry when it comes to this award. The main purpose is to highlight how distinguished South Asian cuisine is, and what each city has contributed in terms of cultural influence. Founder and journalist Romail Gulzar has urged communities to show their support before the deadline. "Our curry heritage is woven into England’s identity. These cities are not just serving food, they are serving history, innovation and pride. I encourage everyone to back their city and help decide who will be crowned the next Curry Capital," he said.
